Join Wolfsville Volunteer Fire Company

Serve your neighbors through fire, rescue, support, and community service at the Wolfsville Volunteer Fire Company - a volunteer organization based in Myersville.

No prior experience is required for many roles. Training is provided through Frederick County and the State of Maryland at no cost.

Serve in a Role That Fits You

Wolfsville Volunteer Fire Company offers multiple ways to serve. Whether you want to respond to emergencies or support operations behind the scenes, there is a place for you.

Firefighter

Respond to fire and rescue incidents, participate in training, and maintain readiness. Training and certification are provided.

EMS / Firefighter-EMT

Support medical emergencies and patient care within the county system. Dual-role opportunities are available.

Fundraising

Assist with fundraising, events, and community outreach. A great option for those who want to support without emergency response duties.

Junior Firefighter

Youth members gain experience, discipline, and teamwork while preparing for future operational roles.

Support Roles

Help with administration, communications, fundraising, IT, facility maintenance, and more. No emergency response required.
